Four of us from Elle Salon ventured to NYC last month, right before the big snow storm, for the International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javits Center. The show featured lots of information on new industry trends and products, as well as, many educational opportunities. Elle attended classes on dry hair cutting and social media, while Mark and Amber attended a workshop on the business aspects of salon ownership and a staff recruitment class. April enjoyed shows on the main stage with Ted Gibson and other hair artists. We found lots of fun products that we will be testing and sharing with you, as well as, new organic product lines. We loved one of Oprah's favorites, The Cottage Greenhouse Collection, with its botanical fresh-scented spa lotions and cremes.
