Elle Salon Ltd Policies:

Deposits/Cancellations:
There are times in all of our lives when unforeseen circumstances require that an appointment be canceled. Depending upon the services (see below), we require either 24-hour, or 48-hour notice of any changes to your scheduled appointment. Without this notice, Elle Salon Ltd reserves the right to charge the client for the full deposit.  Another deposit will be required to reserve a future appointment. Keep in mind that this cancellation will result in the salon staff likely losing the opportunity to fill the void left by the cancellation. This is their livelihood and should be respected.

A “No Show/Late Cancellation” is defined as missing an appointment without cancelling at least 48 hours before the scheduled time for all hair extension, lash extension, and Balayage services, and 24 hours for all other services. See below for specific deposit and cancellation fees required for each type of service.

 

Balayage/Ombre/Color Correction:

48-hour cancellation is required.

For appointments totaling over two and half hours of service time, we will request a 50% deposit to hold the appointments.

 

Eyelash Extensions:
48-hour cancellation is required for a full set.
We require a $100 deposit for this service.

Hair Extensions:
48-hour cancellation is required.
Hair Extension services and Hair Extension services with Color require a significant amount of time and effort on the part of our staff (sometimes as much as 6 hours), and cancellations for these services create a large gap in the staff's schedule that, most times, cannot be filled (especially last minute cancellations). As a result, the staff member loses a significant amount of income. This is their livelihood. Therefore, we are implementing the following policies for deposits on these services:

Hair Extension Deposit Policy:
Services requiring 2.5 hours or less of time:
$100 deposit plus the cost of extensions if needed.
Services requiring more than 2.5 hours of time:
50% of the total estimated services plus the cost of extensions if needed. This fee is still applicable if appointments need to be broken up because of booking issues.Services requiring 2.5 hours or more of time:

Wedding Parties: (regardless of size)

50% deposit is required.  An 18% gratuity will be added for your convenience. We have a four week cancellation policy in place for these services. Please refer to our Wedding Policy and Planner on our Wedding and Events page for more details here.

 

Care Policy: As discussed in your consultation, taking proper care of your extensions is very important for the longevity of this service. Carefully brushing the hair daily, especially in the nape area, is very important. Do not go to bed with wet hair. Braiding your hair before bed will help to alleviate matting. This is an investment that you will need to care for diligently.

I-tip and Flat-tip policy: It is completely normal to lose up to 10 extensions in a 4-6 week period. We will not do any adjustments beyond 4 weeks if it is less than ten extensions lost. If you have more than this amount, we will only fix those that have fallen out. Very fine hair around the nape area is more prone to this issue. Hand-tied extensions may slip at the nape area and we will adjust them up to 4 weeks if needed. After that time period we will charge you based on time at $30 per half hour. If your hair becomes matted due to improper care (see care policy above), we will charge $30 per half hour to untangle it.

Satisfaction guarantee:

Elle Salon would like to make sure you are completely satisfied with your services. We allow up to one week after your service has been performed to contact us regarding any issues you may have. If you are not happy with any of the services that we have provided, the owner or one of our senior stylists will consult with you (in person) and the service will be redone to your satisfaction with the staff member who performed the service, or another staff member if needed. If we are contacted beyond this one week timeframe, we will assume you were pleased with the results, and any adjustments requested will be performed at the regular service cost, and will be scheduled during the next available timeslot.  If you choose to go to another salon to fix any issues you have before consulting with us in person, then any monitary solution is null and void. The owner or another senior stylist needs to witness the issue as is before any other business takes over.

If you are not happy with a salon product that you purchased, you may return it within 2 weeks for a refund.  However, we do not refund on Oway hair care, Innersense, Osmosis skincare and makeup and nail products.

Tardiness:
If you feel you will be more than 10 minutes late, please call us so that we may reassess or reschedule your appointment.  We want to make sure that you will receive the full time and attention allotted to achieve the best results, without affecting clients scheduled around you. Please feel free to call ahead of your appointment to see if we are running on time. 

 

Confirmation Calls:
We will either text or call you to confirm your service appointments 2-3 business days before your appointment as well as the day of as a courtesy.  It is, however, your ultimate responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times.

Cell Phones:
Peace and relaxation are an important aspect of Elle Salon. Therefore, upon entering the salon, please take a moment to lower or silence the volume on your cell phone. If you must take a call, please keep your voice low so as not to disturb other clients.  Social calls are prohibited in the Quiet Room and the Manicure/Pedicure Room.
